About Tara and Bess
We have decided to write this blog because we love to talk. Hence our nickname “Loquacious Magpies” (defined as: excessive and chattering birds); a nickname given to us by our 12th grade English teacher. So we figured, why not share with you some of the stories and challenges we share with each other from our everyday lives.
We have been friends for over 20 years. It all started in 8th grade and has continued through the many phases of our lives. It has been the most amazing friendship! We have had our share of ups and downs and openly admit this journey has been somewhat like a rollercoaster at times. There are years when we have felt close and years when we have felt distant. We’ve questioned our friendship, pushed, pulled, and stretched in it all different directions. However, as we have discovered, our love for each other cannot be broken. This is a friendship that will journey with us through our entire lives.
Every day is full of love. Whether we are out and about or curled up at home, we are living. Sometimes it excites us and sometimes it challenges us. Through it all, we draw on our friendship to keep us strong and centered. We let our guards down and reflect with each other. Here are some conversations from our daily lives.
We’ve really been trying to find that silver lining thing for every experience that we have. No easy feat all the time, but easier when you have a friend to help you along the way. If you are reading this page, you are now one of our friends. We really want to leave a story for our children. We want them to know how much love we are surrounded by, how blessed we are, and how we strive to live our lives fully and happily. Because, believe us, we know that can get lost sometimes in the busy craziness of our lives.
We believe in the depths of our soul, that our lives are meant to be happy. We believe, that there is no limit to how much love we have to share and receive, because love is what makes us whole. Our words are our gift to our children and to the universe. Thank you for deciding to be a part of our journey and share the love.
